Generate AI videos directly in Zee Studio. Choose from multiple models optimized for different styles — cinematic motion, fast iterations, professional-grade quality, and more.

How to generate a video

  1. Open Zee Studio from the top navigation bar (click Zee Studio)
  2. Select AI Video mode in the creator panel
  3. Choose your generation mode:
    • Text to Video — describe the scene you want in the prompt field
    • Image to Video — attach a reference image and describe the motion you want
  4. Type your prompt (e.g., “A golden sunset over a calm ocean with gentle waves”)
  5. (Optional) Click the Enhance with AI button (✨) to optimize your prompt for video — this adds camera movements, lighting, and motion descriptions automatically
  6. Click the model chip to select an AI model and adjust settings
  7. Check the credit cost displayed on the Generate button
  8. Click Generate
  9. Wait for processing — video generation typically takes 1-5 minutes depending on the model and duration
  10. Your video appears in Creations when ready
Video generation takes longer than image generation. You can close Zee Studio and come back later — your video will be waiting in Creations when it’s done.

Choosing the right model

Sora 2 family

Veo 3.1 family

Veo 3.1 uses per-second pricing — cost depends on duration, resolution, and whether audio is generated.

Kling family

Luma Ray family

Seedance family

Wan family

Other models

Credit costs vary by model, duration, resolution, and quality settings. The exact cost is always shown on the Generate button before you confirm. Sora 2 uses flat per-video pricing. Veo 3.1 uses per-second pricing that varies by resolution and audio.
See the complete pricing reference in AI Models Pricing.

Model settings

Click the model chip (e.g., Sora 2) to open the settings panel:
  • Model selector — browse and switch between available video models
  • Duration — choose video length:
    • Sora 2 models: 10 seconds or 15 seconds
    • Veo 3.1 models: 4, 6, or 8 seconds
  • Aspect ratio — landscape (16:9), portrait (9:16), or square (1:1)
  • Resolution — 720p (HD) or 1080p (Full HD) where supported
  • Audio generation — enable synced audio (available on Veo 3.1 Fast)
  • Negative prompt — describe what you don’t want in the video (supported by some models)

Storyboard Mode (Sora 2 Pro)

Storyboard mode lets you compose multi-shot videos by describing individual scenes with their own durations. Available on Sora 2 Pro.

How to use storyboard

  1. Switch to AI Video mode and select Sora 2 Pro
  2. Enable Storyboard in the model settings
  3. Add multiple scenes — each with its own description and duration
  4. Total video length: 10s, 15s, or 25s (sum of all scene durations)
  5. Click Generate

Example storyboard

The AI generates a single cohesive video that transitions naturally between your scenes.
Storyboard mode is great for narrative content, product showcases, and longer-form social videos. Each scene description should be clear and specific to ensure smooth transitions.

Animating images (Image to Video)

In Image to Video mode, you can bring any still image to life:
  1. Switch to Image to Video in the creator panel
  2. Click the image icon to attach your source image
  3. Describe the motion you want in the prompt (e.g., “The camera slowly zooms in while the leaves gently sway in the wind”)
  4. Select a model that supports image-to-video:
    • Sora 2 (Image to Video)
    • Veo 3.1 (Image to Video)
  5. Click Generate
For best results, use high-quality source images. The AI preserves the style and composition of your original image while adding natural motion.

Tips for better video results

  • Describe the motion — “The camera pans left to reveal a mountain range” works better than “mountains”
  • Use the Prompt Optimizer — it adds camera movements, lighting transitions, and motion dynamics automatically
  • Specify camera work — “slow zoom in”, “tracking shot”, “aerial drone view”, “dolly forward”
  • Mention transitions — “the scene fades from dawn to sunrise with warm golden light”
  • Keep it focused — one clear scene per generation works better than complex multi-scene descriptions
  • Try different durations — shorter videos (4-6s) are great for social media loops, longer ones (10-15s) for storytelling

After generation

Once your video is ready, click on it to:
  • Download — save to your device as MP4
  • Create Post — open the post editor with the video attached
  • Recreate — reuse the same model and settings with a new prompt
  • Use prompt — copy the prompt to the creator field
  • Publish — share to the public Explore gallery
