Scheduling Posts

Schedule your posts to publish automatically at the perfect time. Postzee handles timezone conversion, queue management, and delivery to all your connected channels.

Publishing options

When creating or editing a post, you have three publishing options:

How to schedule a post

1. Open the Post Editor (from Calendar, Zee Studio, or the Create Post button)
2. Write your content and select your channels
3. Pick a date and time using the date/time picker
4. Click Schedule
5. The post appears on your Calendar with a blue Scheduled indicator
6. At the scheduled time, Postzee automatically publishes to all selected channels

Timezone handling

All scheduled times respect your team’s configured timezone:

• The date/time picker shows times in your timezone
• When publishing, Postzee converts to UTC internally and delivers at the exact moment you selected
• Team members in different timezones all see the same local time relative to the team’s setting

To change your team’s timezone, open the account drawer → Settings → Preferences tab → Timezone.

Find the best time

Not sure when to post? Use the Find Best Time feature:

1. In the post editor, click Find Best Time (or the clock icon)
2. Postzee analyzes your calendar and finds the least congested time slots
3. A suggested date/time is automatically filled in
4. Adjust if needed, then click Schedule

The algorithm looks at your existing scheduled posts across all channels and suggests times when your calendar is least busy, spreading your content evenly throughout the day.

Rescheduling

There are two ways to reschedule a post:

Drag and drop (Calendar)

1. Open the Calendar view (Month, Week, or Day)
2. Click and drag the post to a new date or time slot
3. The post is instantly rescheduled to the new time

Edit the post

1. Click on the post in the Calendar or Posts list
2. Change the date/time in the editor
3. Click Save or Schedule

Recurring posts

Set up posts that automatically repeat on a regular interval:

1. Create your post and schedule the first occurrence
2. Set the Repeat interval (in days) — for example, every 7 days for weekly
3. Click Schedule
4. Postzee automatically creates future occurrences at the specified interval

Recurring posts are grouped together on the calendar with matching color indicators. You can manage the entire series or edit individual occurrences.

Multi-channel scheduling

When you select multiple channels, the same post is scheduled for all of them simultaneously:

• All channels receive the post at the same scheduled time
• Platform-specific settings (TikTok privacy, YouTube visibility, etc.) are applied per channel
• If one channel fails, the others still publish successfully — you can retry the failed one individually

Queue processing

Here’s what happens behind the scenes when your scheduled time arrives:

1. The post moves from Scheduled to Queue status
2. Postzee’s worker processes the queue and sends content to each platform’s API
3. On success, the post moves to Published status
4. On failure, the post moves to Error status with a specific error message
